Legoland har åpnet Vannland

Legoland har nylig åpnet en utrolig gøyal vannpark.

Et besøk i Legoland krever en full dag, så start tidlig!

Legoland er ca. 20 - 30 minutter syd for Davenport ved Orlando. Det er i Davenport de fleste utleieboliger er, så dette er en kort reisevei syd på Hwy 27 for familiens dagsutflukt.

The Chocolate Kingdom i Old Town, Kissimmee er en interaktiv og morsom butikk med masser av søtsaker og opplevelser.

Her serveres et animert eventyr med prins George som er forelsket i prinsesse Chocolina. Uten at jeg røper fortsettelsen nå, så blir kundene engasjert i en sjokolade-prosess for å hjelpe den forelskede George til å få sin utkårede.

Dernest forteller guiden historien om hvordan sjokoladen ble til, helt fra Maya-indianernes tid.

Her kan du lage din egen sjokolade også med mange ingredienser å velge mellom!

Kennedy Space Center - Utvidelse 29.6.13

Vil du være astronaut i Atlantis?

Rising up from the horizon, approaching Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, is the new home for orbiter Atlantis. Peeking above the building is the top of the full scale 184’ replica of the shuttle’s external tank and 2 solid rocket boosters. The exterior design of the building includes architectural elements representative of the shuttle’s wings in hues of orange and gold to represent the fiery glow of re-entry. The inner layer is covered in a shimmering gray tile pattern to mimic the underside of the orbiter.

Be the Astronaut! Atlantis attraction is full of interactive activities for visitors. Experience what it is like to perform tasks on a spacewalk. Your hands appear on a monitor and you do the work. Find out what it takes to move the 250 ton crane in the Vehicle Assembly Building, used to lift orbiters vertically before launch. There are 21 consoles, with exclusive simulator software based on programs used by NASA, that simulate a shuttle landing, piloting the shuttle to dock with the International Space Station, and manipulating the robotic Canadarm to remove a payload from the shuttle’s bay. Augmented reality gives you a view of the Atlantis that few have seen – a 360° view of Atlantis’ interior.

Think of it like a reclined bicycle safely suspended from steel cables. Those cables serve as your track on a one hour round trip journey through some gorgeous parts of the Forever Florida Wildlife Conservation Area. The course covers varied heights allowing you to experience different levels of this natural area, ultimately reaching treetop heights up to 25 feet!

You’ll gently pedal your way through the pine flatwoods passing over palmetto, lopsided Indian grass and Florida’s beautiful seasonal wild flowers. As you head into Turkey Slough you’ll be amazed at the up close aerial views of this pristine example of Florida’s forested wetlands. Wind through the cypress trees and keep an eye out for bromeliads growing in the canopy.You may also spot some of florida’s natural residents along the way as you pass over the home of white tail deer and through the treetop habitats of woodpeckers, owls and countless other canopy residents. 

One resident you’ll be sure to enjoy is George, a 13 foot alligator who’s called Forever Florida home for over 60 years. You’ll get a chance to meet George as you pedal right over the pond that he calls home, all part of your Cypress Canopy Cycle adventure!

4. juli feiring i Orlando-området

When it comes to the 4th of July, there is no better place to be than Kissimmee. The nearby attractions light up the skies with patriotic colors and nearby local parks and towns provide the perfect hometown quaint celebration everyone can enjoy.

Celebrate July 4th with the entire family at Kissimmee's newly designed and beautiful Lakefront Park. Admission is free and the event will include live music, street performers, games, food, contests, arts and crafts and of course a beautiful fireworks display.

The Town of Celebration is combining 4th of July with Sci-Fi this year and joining forces with MegaCon for the first ever "A Sci-Fi 4th of July." The event will feature a movie themed costume contest as well as a synchronized fireworks show set to Sci-Fi themed music. Enjoy live music throughout the night and a special tribute to our Veterans, while the kids enjoy the bounce house. Parking and admission are free so be ready to dance the night away from 5pm-11pm.

Celebrate Independence Day along the laid-back St. Cloud Lakefront from 3pm-10pm with live music, food, games, a reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by a spectacular fireworks show and so much more. Admission is free.

Walt Disney World Resort

Magic Kingdom celebrates the 4th of July with fireworks on both July 3rd and July 4th synchronized to patriotic music. Disney's Hollywood Studios has a rock ‘n roll themed 4th of July fireworks show while Epcot adds a special 4th of July tribute to Illuminations.

Universal Studios Florida

Look to the center of the lagoon and you will find a Cinesphere Spectacular. The show uses original music, lasers, pyrotechnic effects and a dazzling fireworks display.

SeaWorld Orlando

The Summer Nights nighttime spectacular is the best place to be when the sun sets this summer. Celebrate with exciting, nighttime shows including high-energy, rock ‘n roll Shamu Rocks ®, the comical duo Clyde and Seamore in Sea Lions Tonite and thrilling coasters. Summer Nights takes place every evening June 22-August 11.

LEGOLAND
